11:00 Sunday 21st May 2023 at the poly tunnel
There’re a few days yet to go before the 2023 AGM. This’ll be every plot holder’s opportunity to find out what PPAA Committee do, and to offer their suggestions as to how we can all improve our enjoyment and enhance the fruits of our labours on our plots. Since all of us allotment gardeners will be able to vote on policies, on offices, and on more, the better the attendance, the more representative of the site consensus will be the meeting, and so being there is very important for every one of us!
PPAA Committee
I am sorry I will not be able to attend the Annual general meeting
However; I would like bring to the committee’s attention the following concerns
Two weeks. ago ( beginning of May ) we had the unpleasant task of dealing with human excrement left at the back of the top shed by the fence, on top of a dust bin. Really disgusting and definitely a real health risk
We heard that other plot holders have also found human waste in sheds and on plots as well
Hopefully this will be a one off.on our plot,
but it’s apparent that sheds are being accessed at night as we have had boots and towels and some tools taken also within last six months
Is it possible the police could be asked to patrol the site at night to try and see who the culprits might be
Thank you Chris Barford plot 131B

Thank you Christine your comment is noted and this matter will probably be covered during the site security and wall repair item, but we will alert PPAA Committee if not.
The Community Police – we understand – have a key and include PPA in their patrols.
As a matter of interest, we visited some London allotments and many of the sheds has notices saying “no alcoholic drinks are left in this shed overnight”, so it could be that the intruders are looking for these, since in many cases quite valuable items are not taken.
